The goal is to use the geothermal well to heat the complex of public buildings that are near the source, such as schools, University of Applied Sciences and potentially the city swimming pool, but also to enable the use of geothermal energy for heating greenhouses and dryers in cooperation with University of Applied Sciences, which has its agricultural facilities near the well.

Development of technical documentation

The project “Development of technical documentation for the use of geothermal energy in the area of ​​the City of Križevci” will create all the necessary technical documentation for the exploitation of the Križevčanka 1 well, the main project for the Križevčanka 2 exploratory well, and the conceptual and main project for the establishment of the heating system of public buildings

The “Development of technical documentation for the use of geothermal energy in the area of ​​the town of Križevci” benefits from a € 410.000 EUR grant from Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA Grants along with co-financing by the Republic of Croatia within the Energy and Climate Change Programme. The aim of the project is to create all the necessary technical documentation for the exploitation of the Križevčanka 1 well, the main project for the Križevčanka 2 exploratory well.
